Organising FH Europe Foundation’s 2024 Annual Network Meeting in Vienna

For the third consecutive year, we had the honour of organising and executing the FH Europe Foundation’s Annual Network Meeting—an essential event bringing together the global FH community. This year, the gathering occurred in Vienna, Austria, from 8-10 November 2024 at the Arcotel Wimberger Vienna. With 118 participants representing 35 countries and five continents, this was the most internationally diverse event to date, further solidifying its role as a key platform for collaboration and advocacy. 

A Global Forum for Collaboration

The FH Europe Foundation’s Annual Network Meeting is more than just an event—it’s a movement that unites patients, caregivers, physicians, researchers, policymakers, and life sciences professionals to work towards common goals. This year’s meeting expanded its reach beyond Europe, welcoming participants from Asia, Africa, and South America for the first time. With 103 attendees joining in person and 15 participating online, the event successfully maintained its hybrid format, ensuring accessibility and engagement for all.

The carefully curated agenda featured expert-led discussions, interactive workshops, and real-world case studies aimed at driving actionable solutions for the lipid disorder community. Topics ranged from cutting-edge research to patient advocacy strategies, reinforcing FH Europe’s commitment to fostering collaboration and driving meaningful change.
